ABOUT UMOJA FARM NGO

The NGO “UMOJA” is planning to carry out its activities throughout the DRC. The “UMOJA” farm at Kasumbalesa being its initial project. Second in line is the farm at Menkao, Kinshasa. The NGO will extend its projects to the different territories of the State by decision of the Board of Directors. The NGO “UMOJA” is working in collaboration with Mother of Mercy’s Home non-profitable company, registration number: 2005/024090/08.

The NGO “UMOJA” did not want to remain in the reflection without making its contribution to the problems experienced in the DRC, in particular food insufficiency and a glaring need in the agricultural sector for modern infrastructure in order to meet the food needs of the for Congolese population.

Considering that there is a need to contribute with one’s expertise alongside the experience of others in the said field;

Driven by love of neighbor, not simply to reflect on equality and the right of all to have access to good food;

In the meantime, with the help of other co-founders, the non-government development organization “ UMOJA” was created.
